How to spice up your wedding day best man’s speech

 

I got a call asking me to produce 10 individual scenes from a best man’s speech on A1 foamed board. What a great idea! The best man had these boards numbered and on an easel. He then talked through the top 10 moments of his brothers past, each time he hit a number he turned the board round to show the scene – it helped set the scene !

 

The boards went down a treat with everyone! I was really nervous before making the speech, but managed to have a bit to drink before…which helped. Everyone said how good the drawings were of Tom and what a good idea it was…so thank you paul!

 

There are other good uses for a caricature at a wedding – the obvious one which is book me to join you and your guests at the reception and let me draw a crowd! But also I have done full height standing cut out caricatures of the bride and groom – these were placed as people walked into the reception! This idea for wedding speech caricature boards was new for me and by the sounds of the happy client went down very well indeed.
