So when I took the booking it was early last year. Tonight I will be working in Trafalgar Square in central London. As I sit preparing my paper, pens and spare pens etc I wonder just how busy it will be? Thoughts of the last time I went to London on New Years Eve go way back to a teen, when the group I went with got split up due to waves of people moving in different directions, you couldn’t fight it and got swept away. So tonight I am hoping it will be more controlled, my booking is for a few hours in a hotel so that part is fine, I hope to then leave and catch a train just as the new year is ringing in.
