Had some spare mins and thought what better way to pass the time than a quick event style caricature of Dr Who. This style I use standard A3 paper and Creta black sticks. The outline and shading is done using different versions of the same sticks – so some are sharpened to a point to create nice dark crisp lines others are more rounded for the shading. The stick is used on it’s side to cover large areas with tone.

The whole thing probably takes about 4-6 minutes, these are the type of caricatures that I produce at events.

Hmm, I might invest in a bow tie, they are pretty cool!
